About Adelaide United

Adelaide United are South Australia's pride, a founding member of Australia's A-League who have punched well above their weight on both the domestic and Asian stage. The Reds were crowned A-League champions in the 2015-16 season and became the most successful club in Australia Cup history with three titles. In 2008 they became the first Australian club to reach the AFC Champions League final, a landmark achievement that put Adelaide football on the world map.

Founded in 2003, Adelaide United compete in the A-League Men, Australia's top division. The club plays home games at Coopers Stadium in Adelaide, South Australia. Key honours include 1 A-League Championship (2015-16), 3 Australia Cup titles (2014, 2018, 2019), and an AFC Champions League runners-up finish in 2008.

Adelaide United's original kit drew on the three colours of the South Australian state flag, pairing a predominantly red shirt with yellow sleeve stripes and blue shorts. Since then the club has evolved towards a cleaner all-red identity with black trim as the dominant accent. Their early kits were manufactured by Reebok as part of a league-wide deal, before the club moved to Errca in 2011 and later to UCAN in 2020. The away kit has shifted from white with red sleeves to a popular black clash strip across the club's history, with each iteration reflecting the Reds' growing ambition on and off the pitch.
