About Al Ettifaq
Al Ettifaq are one of Saudi Arabia's most historic clubs, a Dammam institution that made history as the first Saudi side to win an international title when they claimed the 1984 Arab Club Champions Cup. Two Saudi Pro League titles and a proud Eastern Province following have given Al Ettifaq a genuine identity beyond the capital. The 2023 arrival of Steven Gerrard as manager brought unprecedented global attention, and subsequent high-profile signings announced the club to a worldwide audience in the Saudi Pro League's transformative era. Founded in 1945, Al Ettifaq play at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam and compete in the Saudi Pro League. Key honours include two Saudi Pro League titles (1983, 1987) and the 1984 Arab Club Champions Cup, making them the first Saudi club to win that competition. They wear green, white, and red as their club colours. Green, white, and red are Al Ettifaq's colours and they carry the regional pride of the Eastern Province. The modern 2023-24 home kit in green with red sleeve cuffs became the shirt that international arrivals wore as Gerrard's project took shape in front of a global audience. The away jersey in red with green applications provides a bold alternative. Al Ettifaq's kits now carry the significance of one of the most watched seasons in Saudi football history, and that association gives the designs real meaning for collectors.
