About Al Nassr

Al Nassr are one of Saudi Arabia's most celebrated clubs, a Riyadh institution founded in 1955 that has never been relegated from the Saudi Pro League. The Knights of Najd dominated domestic football during the golden era of the 1970s, 80s and 90s and in 2000 became the first Asian club to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup. Their profile reached new heights globally when Cristiano Ronaldo signed for the club in January 2023, bringing unprecedented international attention to the Saudi Pro League.

Founded on 24 October 1955, Al Nassr are based in Riyadh and compete in the Saudi Pro League. Their home ground is Al-Awwal Park, with a capacity of 25,000. Key honours include 9 Saudi Pro League titles, 6 King's Cups, and 1 Asian Cup Winners' Cup.

Al Nassr's yellow and blue colour scheme is one of the most recognisable in Asian football. Yellow was chosen to represent the colour of the desert, while blue reflects the waters surrounding the Arabian Peninsula. The home kit has remained predominantly yellow throughout the club's history, with blue providing the contrast on the away strip. Kit manufacturers over the years have included Nike and New Balance before Duneus became the current supplier. In 2025, to mark the club's 70th anniversary, Al Nassr unveiled a redesigned circular crest featuring a map of the Arabian Peninsula at its centre.
