About Delhi Dynamos
Delhi Dynamos FC were one of the founding franchises of the Indian Super League, established in 2014 to bring professional football to India's capital. Playing their home games at the 60,000-capacity Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, the Dynamos spent five seasons in the ISL and attracted high-profile foreign players, helping to grow the game in one of the world's largest cities. In 2019, the franchise was relocated and rebranded as Odisha FC, but Delhi Dynamos remain a cherished chapter in the early history of Indian professional football.
Delhi Dynamos FC were founded in 2014 and played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. They competed in the Indian Super League from 2014 to 2018 before being relocated and rebranded as Odisha FC in 2019. The franchise was backed by DEN Networks.
Delhi Dynamos played in a striking orange and dark blue colour scheme that stood out vividly across their five ISL seasons. The combination gave the franchise a bold, modern identity from the outset, and the inaugural 2014-15 home shirt in orange with dark blue detailing quickly became a collector's item among early Indian football fans. Their FreeCharge-sponsored kit from that first season captures the excitement of ISL's debut year, a snapshot of Indian football's professional era beginning in earnest at one of the country's most iconic sports venues.
