About Den Bosch
Den Bosch are a Dutch football club from the historic city of 's-Hertogenbosch in North Brabant, formed in 1965 as a professional successor to the long-established BVV, whose football roots in the city stretched back to 1906. Playing in blue and white and known as the Blue White Dragons, Den Bosch have spent much of their professional existence in the Eerste Divisie and have had multiple stints in the Eredivisie across their history. A proud provincial club with deep roots in the Brabant region, Den Bosch have been a constant presence in Dutch professional football for six decades.
Den Bosch were founded in 1965 as a professional successor to BVV (1906) and Wilhelmina (1890). They play at De Vliert in 's-Hertogenbosch and compete in the Eerste Divisie. Their colours are blue and white and they are nicknamed the Blue White Dragons.
Blue and white have been Den Bosch's colours throughout their professional existence, a combination worn with Brabant pride across six decades of Dutch football. De Vliert is one of the more compact and atmospheric grounds in Dutch professional football, and the blue and white shirts seen there across multiple decades represent a club synonymous with its city. The kits from their Eredivisie seasons, when Den Bosch have occasionally earned promotion to the top flight, are the most sought-after among supporters of this dependable North Brabant club.
