About Hogaborgs
Hogaborgs BK carry a weight of history far greater than their current league position suggests. Founded in 1927 in the Hogaborg district of Helsingborg, Sweden, this small community club is most famous as the boyhood home of Henrik Larsson, one of the greatest strikers of his generation. Larsson learned his football here in black and green before going on to become a legend at Feyenoord, Celtic, Barcelona, and with the Swedish national team. Hogaborgs is where that extraordinary journey began.
Founded in 1927, Hogaborgs BK play their home games at Harlyckans IP in Helsingborg and currently compete in the Swedish fourth division. Black and green are the club's colours, adopted in 1928 after their first year in blue.
Hogaborgs play in black and green, a combination that first appeared in 1928 and has defined the club ever since. At the grassroots level, their strips reflect community identity rather than commercial partnerships. It is the connection to Henrik Larsson that gives the black and green shirt its special place in football culture. Larsson wore these colours as a boy before becoming one of Europe's elite strikers, and that origin story makes a Hogaborgs shirt one of the most sentimental pieces in any serious collector's wardrobe.
