Nottingham Forest are one of English football's greatest fairytales, a club from the banks of the River Trent that conquered Europe not once but twice under the genius of Brian Clough. Back-to-back European Cups in 1979 and 1980 remain among the most stunning achievements in English football history, all the more remarkable for a club of Forest's size. Their red shirt has been worn by some of the game's finest players, and it carries the full weight of those miraculous years.

Founded in 1865 and based in Nottingham, the club play at the City Ground on the banks of the Trent. Their honours include 2 UEFA European Cups (1979, 1980), 1 First Division title (1978), and 4 League Cup wins. Nicknamed the Reds, they compete in the Premier League.

The Nottingham Forest red shirt is as iconic as any in English football. The bold red with white trim and white shorts combination was the uniform of Clough's European champions, and the Umbro kits of the late 1970s and early 1980s worn by Trevor Francis, John Robertson, and Peter Shilton are among the most coveted retro shirts in the country. The Admiral-era kits of the mid-1970s also have a cult following for their distinctive trim patterns.
