About Olympique Marseille

Olympique de Marseille are the beating heart of southern France and the most successful French club in European competition. The only French side to have won the UEFA Champions League, OM's 1993 triumph under Raymond Goethals created a defining moment in French football history. With the Velodrome rocking behind them and a passionate city at their backs, the white shirt of Marseille carries more emotional weight than almost any other kit in the French game.

Founded in 1899 and based in Marseille, southern France, the club play at the Stade Velodrome. Their honours include 1 UEFA Champions League (1993), 9 Ligue 1 titles, and 10 Coupe de France wins. One of the most decorated and passionately supported clubs in French football history.

The white home shirt is Marseille's eternal statement. From the domestic dominance of the early 1990s under Bernard Tapie to the passionate European campaigns of more recent years, the all-white or white-with-sky-blue-trim combination has been consistent and proud. The 1992-93 Champions League-winning kit, supplied by Adidas, is among the most iconic shirts in French football history. The sky blue away shirts of various eras have also developed strong collector followings, and the club's partnership with Puma in the 2000s produced some sharp iterations of the classic white look.
