About Persib Bandung

Persib Bandung are one of the most beloved football clubs in Asia, a side from the city of Bandung in West Java whose following is as passionate and vast as any club on the continent. Founded in 1919 and formalised in 1933, the Maung Bandung -- the Tigers of Bandung -- have claimed back-to-back Liga 1 titles in 2023-24 and 2024-25, reinforcing their status as Indonesia's pre-eminent football club and the heartbeat of West Javanese sport.

Founded in 1919 and formalised on 14 March 1933 in Bandung, West Java, Persib compete in Liga 1 and have won the league in 2023-24, 2024-25, 2014, and 1994-95, alongside five Perserikatan titles. They are known as Maung Bandung, the Tigers of Bandung, and play at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api.

Blue is the colour of Persib Bandung, a vivid shade that makes the Maung Bandung one of the most visually distinctive clubs in Southeast Asian football. Kelme have supplied the club since 2025, with Sportama dressing them for nearly a decade before that. The iconic blue home shirt has been worn by generations of Bandung faithful, and the recent back-to-back championship kits from 2024 and 2025 represent a new golden age for a club that is writing its greatest chapters right now.
