Phoenix Rising FC are one of American soccer's most ambitious and exciting clubs outside Major League Soccer, a team from the Valley of the Sun who have taken the USL Championship by storm. Founded in 2014 as Arizona United and rebranded as Phoenix Rising in 2017, they capped a remarkable journey by claiming their first USL Championship title in 2023, completing one of the great runs in the division's history and establishing themselves as the dominant force in the American soccer pyramid's second tier.
