Piacenza

Piacenza Calcio are a club of genuine Serie A pedigree, founded in 1919 in the Emilian city of Piacenza in the Po Valley. The Biancorossi earned promotion to Italy's top flight in the 1990s and went on to spend several seasons in Serie A, twice finishing 12th in 1997-98 and 2001-02. Their run in Italian football's elite was built on strong team spirit and smart recruitment, and it remains a golden period in the club's memory. After financial difficulties and a refounding in 2012, Piacenza have rebuilt determinedly from the lower divisions, carrying their centenary year in 2019 as a badge of pride.

Piacenza Calcio were founded in 1919 and play at Stadio Garilli in Piacenza. They competed in Serie A during the 1990s and 2000s and are known as the Biancorossi. The club was refounded in 2012 following bankruptcy and the wolf crest has remained a symbol of the club throughout their history.

Red and white are the colours of Piacenza, worn since the club's foundation in 1919, and their traditional biancorosso shirt is a proud piece of Italian football heritage. The Serie A era of the 1990s and early 2000s produced clean Kappa and Lotto kits bearing the wolf crest, and those shirts are warmly remembered by supporters who watched Piacenza compete at the highest level. The wolf emblem on the chest gives the Piacenza shirt a fierce heraldic character, and the centenary kit released in 2019 to mark the club's 100th year was a fitting tribute to a century of Emilian football.
