SC Cambuur are Friesland's finest football club, representing the provincial capital of Leeuwarden with fierce Frisian pride since 1964. Drawing their yellow and blue colours from the historic Cammingha family coat of arms, Cambuur have won the Eerste Divisie title three times, in 1992, 2013, and 2021, earning repeated promotions to the Eredivisie. A compact, passionate club with an intensely loyal local following, Cambuur achieved their highest ever Eredivisie finish of 9th place in 2021-22 and are a true representation of Frisian identity on the Dutch football stage.

SC Cambuur were founded in 1964 and play at Cambuur Stadion in Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland. They compete in the Eredivisie and have won the Eerste Divisie title three times. Their colours are yellow and blue, drawn from the Cammingha family heraldry.

Yellow and blue make for a vivid and distinctive combination on the Dutch football pitch, and Cambuur's shirts are instantly recognisable across the Eredivisie. The club has marked special occasions with memorable kits, including a touching tribute shirt honouring the Canadian liberators of Leeuwarden in World War II, one of the most emotionally resonant special editions produced by a Dutch club in recent memory. Their Eerste Divisie title-winning shirts of 1992, 2013, and 2021 are the most prized in any Cambuur supporter's collection.
