Sporting Clube de Portugal, known as Sporting CP, are one of Portugal's great Big Three and a club that has produced some of football's finest talents. From Eusebio to Luis Figo to a teenage Cristiano Ronaldo, the Sporting academy has been one of Europe's most productive production lines of world-class players, and the green and white striped shirt of Alvalade is one of European football's most elegant and recognisable looks.

Founded in 1906 and based in Lisbon, Portugal, the club play at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. Their honours include 19 Primeira Liga titles, 17 Taca de Portugal wins, and 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1964). Nicknamed Os Leoes (The Lions) and one of Portugal's most decorated and historically significant clubs.
