About Toronto FC

Toronto FC were MLS's most passionate expansion story, a club that arrived in 2007 and immediately generated supporter culture that the league had rarely seen. Difficult early years gave way to genuine glory when Sebastian Giovinco arrived in 2015 and transformed the club into MLS's most exciting side. The 2017 MLS Cup triumph was the crowning moment, backed by a BMO Field crowd that creates some of the most intense atmospheres in North American sport. Toronto have always done it their own way and that has made them special. Founded in 2005, Toronto FC play at BMO Field and compete in MLS Eastern Conference. Key honours include the 2017 MLS Cup and two Canadian Championships. Known as TFC, the club wears red as their signature colour and is one of Canadian football's most passionate and followed clubs. Red is Toronto FC and it has been worn with extraordinary passion from the very beginning. The 2017 MLS Cup winning shirt, worn as Victor Vazquez and Jozy Altidore powered TFC to the first Canadian club championship in MLS history, is the standout piece of the modern collection. The Giovinco-era kits from 2015-19 carry enormous nostalgic weight. Adidas has supplied clean red home shirts in recent years. The black away kits with red trim suit the intensity of a fanbase that has always demanded excellence.
