About Valencia
Valencia CF are one of Spanish football's grandest clubs, a side with six La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey cabinet full of silverware, and back-to-back Champions League finals at the turn of the millennium. The Mestalla is one of Europe's most atmospheric stadiums, a steep and passionate bowl that has intimidated visitors for a century. Under coaches like Rafa Benitez, Valencia reached heights that rivalled Real Madrid and Barcelona and established themselves as genuine world-class competitors. Founded in 1919, Valencia play at the Mestalla and compete in La Liga. Key honours include six La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey wins, and the 2004 UEFA Cup. Known as Los Che, the club has historically been Spain's third force and regularly competed deep into European campaigns. Valencia's white shirts are elegant and understated, offset by orange and black trim that gives their kit real character. The Mestalla shirt worn during the back-to-back Champions League final runs of 2000 and 2001 is iconic among La Liga collectors. Umbro dressed the club through much of that golden era. The orange-accented away shirts have been particularly strong across the modern era, and the all-orange away kits of various eras always turn heads on the European stage.
