About Usti nad Labem

FK Usti nad Labem are a club from the industrial city of Usti nad Labem in north Bohemia, a long-standing member of the Czech football pyramid with modest but persistent ambitions. The club briefly tasted top-flight Czech football in the early 1950s and late 1950s and has spent most of its existence in the lower and middle tiers of the Czech game. A recent rebranding as FK Viagem Usti nad Labem in 2023 brought renewed commercial ambition to a club fighting to climb back toward the national spotlight. Founded in 1945, FK Usti nad Labem play at the Mestsky stadion and compete in the Czech national football second tier. Known as Arma, the club wears traditional blue and red and draws from the working-class sporting culture of the Elbe valley. Historical top-flight appearances in 1952 and 1958-59 remain the high watermarks of the club's competitive history. Blue and red have been Usti nad Labem's colours throughout the club's history, a combination that reflects their north Bohemian industrial roots. Though the club has spent much of its existence outside the top tier, the kit has maintained a consistent colour identity across numerous eras. The 2023 rebranding as FK Viagem introduced a new crest but preserved the traditional blue and red, a decision that respected the club's long-standing visual identity while signalling fresh commercial ambition for a new chapter.
